UFC 260: Miocic VS Ngannou 2: The Ngannou Era Has Started

As Miocic faced Ngannou’s hard punches on Saturday night’s rematch at UFC 260 and was brutally knocked down, the Ngannou era has definitely arrived.

Ngannou waited for 3 years to finally get his revenge on Stipe Miocic after missing out on his chance in 2018.

Everybody is talking about the second-round knockout that gave Ngannou the heavyweight title at UFC 260.  It was only 52 seconds into the second round when Miocic said goodbye to the championship title.

Who Is the “Predator” Going to Challenge Next?

The current heavyweight champion of the world has a bright future ahead.

Ngannou is now expected to fight Jon Jones, one of the greatest UFC fighters of all-time, who has been the light heavyweight king for the last decade.

Ngannou said, “In my opinion, Jon Jones is the greatest of all time in mixed martial arts,” “Him moving up is going to be a challenge I will take. It’ll be a very good challenge. … But this time I am the champ, he is coming up and looking for me. I am ready any time soon.”

Is Jones next? Is he the next to go down from the hardest recorded puncher, not only in UFC but MMA ever?

Earlier in the year Dana White, the president of the UFC, said Jones would face the winner of the Miocic vs Ngannou. However, after the fight, he stated that Derrick Lewis is the next fight on the card for Ngannou, but if the Jones camp wants it it’s theirs. But Jones needs to get in better shape to face the highest punching power ever measured by the UFC.

For Ngannou it doesn’t matter, he is prepared to take on any of the challengers, Jones, Lewis or even another match with Miocic.
