MINI-BIO : I grew up in Chinquapin, NC with my grandparents. My father introduced me to boxing at the age of eight. When I was sent to live with my uncle in Raleigh, NC, I became interested in jiu-jitsu at the age of 19 and realized I could do what I loved most (fighting) as a career. I began at a small jiu-jitsu gym in Greenville, NC and began networking with other fighters and people in the fight world to fine-tune my fighting.
