@adminKhabib Nurmagomedov has received some backlash for his recent comments during his events and press conferences. His recent comments were about the former featherweight best Jose Aldo. In his comments, he talked about how Jose Aldo won’t be able to attain a peak level of success in his career. According to Khabib, one can only be the best once in his fighting career. Jose Aldo after losing his featherweight belt and losing some fights at the featherweight decided to move down to the bantamweight division. And now Aldo is sitting on a two-fight winning streak with wins over two top guys.
Khabib also talked about how some fighters are just fighting for the sake of money. While discussing this issue he talked about Jose Aldo who recently scored a win over Pedro Munhoz. According to Khabib, Jose is just fighting for money and he will not be abler to get back to the top at this age.

“How is he showing it?” Nurmagomedov told RT Sport. “He got beat up when he fought … Petr, right? A guy wins one fight and everyone starts talking. When Conor (McGregor) fought (Donald) ‘Cowboy’ (Cerrone), he looked like a lion. When he fights stronger opponents, he looks like a scared chicken. Fighting top fighters shows your worth. … The level of Russia’s football team will be shown against Croatia, not Malta.
“A fight against ‘Cowboy’ won’t show what level you’re at, just like Aldo’s fight against Pedro Munhoz. Let him fight Petr the same way. Then we can say he’s peaking again. You saw what he did. He closed up and waited for the ref to stop the fight. That shows that you’re not at your peak. If you’re getting hit and you’re conscious and you’re not defending yourself, I call those fighters businessmen. They come out to make money.”
“There are real champions that go hard on everyone,” Nurmagomedov said. “They don’t care (about) the money. Of course it’s an important aspect, but he has the competitive spirit. So there’s no way Aldo is having a second peak. You can try to prove it all you want, but I’ve been through this. I know better than you. You’re a journalist, and I’m a fighter.”
Nurmagomedov Says Ring Girls Are Useless
Recently Nurmagomdoev was getting too much hatred for his comments over MMA rings girls. Khabib in his interview said that he feels that the MMA ring girls have no connection to the Game. He also tagged them as the most Useless people in the MMA.
“Look, I don’t want to offend anyone: Ring girls are the most useless people in martial arts,” Nurmagomedov said at a Moscow press conference. “What is their function? I have a question. You can show that it is the second round on the screen.
“I realize that is a history (behind ring card girls). History knows many mistakes. We read history to avoid mistakes of the past in the future. If we look in the history, it says they are useless. That is my personal opinion. Dana White maybe likes it. Maybe you do, too. But my name is not Dana. My name is Khabib.”
“I sit with my father (at an event),” “Every person has his own preferences – the culture and values. I come to fight night (and) sit with my father. These (ring card girls) are passing by and showing people that it is the second round. But no one looks at the (round number). I feel uncomfortable with my father. I am not against it. If you want, you can do it. But don’t impose it to me. Do it aside. There are the designated places for it. I think we must not mix all of it. This is my (personal) opinion.”
