Kevin Lee’s Return Gets Delayed

Kevin Lee

Kevin Lee was considered the next big thing in the UFC when he started his UFC career. He looked like a complete MMA fighter and had some tremendous performances inside the octagon. Recently Lee decided that he wanted to move up to the welterweight division due to the problems he faced with his constant struggle with the weight cutting issue. The last time he moved up to welterweight he faced Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of UFC on ESPN+ 10. He lost the fight via submission in the fourth round of the fight and promptly decided to continue his lightweight journey.

In his last octagon appearance, he fought Charles Oliveira in the main event at UFC Fight Night 170. Lee weighed in at 158.5 lbs, which is 2.5 lbs over the lightweight limit of 156 pounds. Lee was fined 20% of his purse and his bout with Oliveira was expected to proceed as scheduled at a catchweight. Lee lost the fight via submission with a guillotine choke in the third round. He was completely controlled by Oliveira in that fight. The highest point of Lee’s career was when he fought Tony Ferguson for the interim lightweight title. He had early success in that fight against Tony but eventually got submitted again and lost the title opportunity.

Sean Brady

Sean Brady is a new up-and-comer fighter in the UFC’s welterweight division. He is an undefeated prospect in the division. Brady is currently ranked No. 14 in the UFC welterweight rankings. According to the reports, this fight is going to get postponed for a further date but no official update regarding the same has been released by the UFC yet.
UFC 264 will be headlined by a trilogy fight between lightweights Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor in the main event which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 10.
