In the first fight, Conor was successful in using his mental warfare and getting under Dustin Poirier’s skin which helped him get that first win. In the rematch at UFC 257, Mcgregor was a proper gentleman leading up to the fight which many believe was the reason for his defeat. Mcgregor Predicts KO Win Over Poirier At UFC 264

“I don’t give a f**k about him, to be honest,” said McGregor, “It’s just how I am, he’s a corpse, a dead body a blank face that’s going to get his ass whooped and took out on a stretcher,” the ‘Notorious’ recently told The Mac Life.

I’m going to knock him out,” McGregor told Rolling Stone. “Without question. I’m the most dangerous I’ve ever been. I’m the most focused I’ve ever been. And I’m going to take him out. He won’t have any way to deal with what I’m bringing on Saturday, and that’s it.”

“I’m always better when I’m busy,” McGregor said. “I always say that. So, it’s going to help. When I’m active, I’m fresh, I’m dangerous, and I’m hyper-focused.”

“The only difference between the Nate Diaz fight and this fight is I’m throwing kill shots now,” McGregor said. “Every shot I’ve thrown in this camp is a kill shot, so you know, that’s it, I’m going to kill this name.”

“It’s so good to be back in Las Vegas, so good to be back in the United States of America. I was in Cali before I came here and I love this place so very much so,” McGregor concluded. “I’m very excited to come back, boost the economy here in Las Vegas once again, put on a show for the fans and score a devastating KO.”

Poirier Predicts Submission Win At UFC 264

“For some reason, I keep visualizing myself submitting this guy, I really do,” Poirier spoke to UFC’s Megan Olivi, “I don’t know how it’s going to come about or what’s going to happen but I have a feeling I’m going to sub him, I really do.”

“I have no clue, I don’t even like to make predictions and stuff like that and usually I don’t have stuff come to my head like I’m going to knock this guy out, I’m just going to win by any means, that’s my goal in every fight. But, I just have a feeling I might submit him,” the 32-year-old added.
